Pine Ridge Treasures' French Countryside Blog Hop

Welcome to the 2016 Pine Ridge Treasures' French Countryside Blog Hop

I think that this is going to be a very creative hop!  Each participant was sent a variety of beads, most with a color theme of purple, green, and black.  They were instructed to make nifty creations using their kit beads, and other items in their bead stash (if they so chose).

What did I make for the hop? A sparkly bracelet! I love classic designs, and this turned out to be one of my favorites.  It is perfect for me to wear to work. I am sorry that the photo is not sharper.  It was difficult to show how sparkly the glass beads were without the photo looking a little washed out.  The small round beads are really cool.  They are corrugated Czech glass in a purple color that turns green depending on how the light hits it.  I call this bracelet "Twilight Vineyard".

Pine Ridge Treasures' Favorite Things Blog Hop

Welcome to the 2016 Pine Ridge Treasures' Favorite Things Blog Hop

It is hard to believe that October is already here.  I haven't hosted a hop lately, so I am looking forward to seeing what everyone made for this one.  The participants were sent a variety of bead kits with jewelry making items that contained some of my favorite things! They were instructed to make nifty creations using their kit beads, and other items in their bead stash (if they so chose).

What did I make for the hop? A bracelet with dangles!  If you know me, you already know that making dangles is not my favorite thing.  I just don't have the patience.  So, I was very pleased that I managed to finish this.  I really like how it came out, and have been wearing it to work. I utilized an assortment of Czech glass beads, as well as some snowflake obsidian gemstone spacers.

Pine Ridge Treasures' Sunny Day Blog Hop July 23rd, 2016

Welcome to the 2016 Pine Ridge Treasures' Sunny Day Blog Hop

I can't wait to see what everyone made!  Just a quick recap: each participant was sent a bead kit with cultured seaglass and czech glass in shades of blue, yellow and green.  Blue for the sky, yellow for the sun and green for the grass and leaves.  Participants were instructed to make beady creations using their kit beads, and other items in their bead stash (if they so chose).

What did I make for the hop? A necklace and earring set!  I used pretty faceted  crystal beads - large clear rounds and small peridot green rounds.  I also incorporated Czech glass sky blue faceted beads and tiny yellow accents.  Silver plated discs frame the blue beads and add some interest.  My inspiration was the morning dew on the leaves, which picks up shimmers of green and blue. I call this set "Morning Dew."

2016 Pine Ridge Treasures' Black and White Blog Hop and Challenge

Welcome to the 2016 Pine Ridge Treasures' Black and White Blog Hop and Challenge

I can't wait to see what everyone made!  Just a quick recap: each participant was sent a bead kit with a mixture of Tiaria Crystal and glass pearls. Many kits also included snowflake obsidian gemstones and silver plated metal.  Participants were instructed to make beady creations using their kit beads, and other items in their bead stash (if they so chose).

What did I make for the hop? A classic bracelet and earring set!  Czech glass petal beads and table cut oblong beads are framed by corrugated silver rounds.  I used some white faceted crystals as well.  The earrings have head pins with flat paddles.  I call this set "Just the right touch."
