Blue Fantasy Blog Hop Reveal

UPDATE: Laurie Vyselaar is the giveaway winner!

This is going to be a fun hop!  I LOVE the color blue, in all its shade variations. It is so versatile.  Here are some "inspiration" photos to get everyone in a "blue mood" - in a good way, of course!

The talented participants were sent a variety of beads and pendants in multiple shades of blue, as well as plated metal goodies. They were asked to create jewelry or other art using as many beads from the kit as possible.  The beautiful cultured seaglass, Tiaria crystal, and most of the plated metal for this hop are from ZnetShows.  Check out their  selections: ZnetShows Cultured Seaglass, ZnetShows Tiaria Crystal  and ZnetShows Plated Metal

It just would not be a blog hop without a giveaway, right?  Leave a comment (by midnight EST September 13th) on this post and let me know what shade of blue is your favorite, and why. I will draw a name on September 14th.  The winner will receive a bead package from me full of special goodies!

Without further ado, here are the participants!

  1. My favorite shade of blue is the sky in the first picture - that darkest part. And the color of slightly faded denim. I don't know why, it just speaks to me for some reason. I love all shades of blue, it just calms me and makes me happy.

  2. I love royal blue. It is such a rich, yummy color. If you are really lucky on a crisp, cool day the sky will sometimes look royal blue. I am looking forward to days with low humidity and smog!

  3. My friend Betty started calling me "Becky Blue" because I wear blue and make blue jewelry so often. My favorite shade of blue is aqua, but there isn't a bad shade of blue in my eyes. I love them all.

  8. Blue is the color most people choose to be their favorite! I believe its because of the blues that we are surrounded by looking to the sky, horizon and any body of water. Lake Louise and other similar lakes in Canada have a magical quality because of the color of blue that they reflect. Although these lakes seem to hold all the blues of the sky and earth the one color that I see is Turquoise...my personal favorite.

  9. I love all shades of blue! It wasn't always my favorite colour but over the last year I find myself gravitating to it more and more. There are just so many gorgeous gemstones and lamp work glass blue in shades of blue that I can't resist it!

  12. Is there any shade of blue I 'don't' like?! lol I suppose Sapphire blue is among the top, due to it's rich tone, plus it's my birthstone :) I tend to wear the lighter shades of blue though... lol

  14. I like the deep blue (I think's Cobalt Blue) that was included in my kit. I also like denim blue but do you know how hard that color is to find in a bead.
