Pine Ridge Treasures' French Countryside Blog Hop

Welcome to the 2016 Pine Ridge Treasures' French Countryside Blog Hop

I think that this is going to be a very creative hop!  Each participant was sent a variety of beads, most with a color theme of purple, green, and black.  They were instructed to make nifty creations using their kit beads, and other items in their bead stash (if they so chose).

What did I make for the hop? A sparkly bracelet! I love classic designs, and this turned out to be one of my favorites.  It is perfect for me to wear to work. I am sorry that the photo is not sharper.  It was difficult to show how sparkly the glass beads were without the photo looking a little washed out.  The small round beads are really cool.  They are corrugated Czech glass in a purple color that turns green depending on how the light hits it.  I call this bracelet "Twilight Vineyard".

Pine Ridge Treasures' Favorite Things Blog Hop

Welcome to the 2016 Pine Ridge Treasures' Favorite Things Blog Hop

It is hard to believe that October is already here.  I haven't hosted a hop lately, so I am looking forward to seeing what everyone made for this one.  The participants were sent a variety of bead kits with jewelry making items that contained some of my favorite things! They were instructed to make nifty creations using their kit beads, and other items in their bead stash (if they so chose).

What did I make for the hop? A bracelet with dangles!  If you know me, you already know that making dangles is not my favorite thing.  I just don't have the patience.  So, I was very pleased that I managed to finish this.  I really like how it came out, and have been wearing it to work. I utilized an assortment of Czech glass beads, as well as some snowflake obsidian gemstone spacers.
