Happy Beads Blog Hop!

Welcome to the 2020 Pine Ridge Treasures' Happy Beads Blog Hop

Happiness - let's bring 2020 to a close with a big dose of positivity and share some smiles.  I know what puts a smile on my face - beautiful beads and jewelry!

For this hop, each participant was sent a variety of beads, with a pre-selected color theme of purple or blue.  They were asked to make nifty creations using the beads in their kits, and other items in their bead stash (if they so chose).

Blue is one of my favorite colors, so I really enjoyed working with this blue palette.  I decided to make a necklace and bracelet, instead of the necklace/earring combination that I usually create.

What did I make for the hop? I call this set "Reclaiming my Happy Place".

Now it's time to check out all of the great jewelry creations:

Pine Ridge Treasures' Summer Romance Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pine Ridge Treasures' Summer Romance Blog Hop - August 18th, 2018

I love purple toned glass beads and sparkly clear crystal  - especially when paired with silver metal!  They have a real "romance factor" about them.  So when I was putting together my Summer Romance Blog Hop kits, I made sure to include  purple Czech glass and crystal!  Some kits had coordinating color themes as well.  For this hop, participants were instructed to make awesome creations using their kit beads, and other items in their bead stash (if they so chose).

What did I make for the hop? An elegant bracelet and earring set using purple Czech glass hearts, faceted rounds, and drops.  For the bracelet I mixed in clear round crystal beads, large round silver "orbit" spacers and an oval focal bead.  For the earrings I keep it more simple using delicate purple Czech glass drops.  I added sterling silver dangle ear wires to add an elegant look.  I call this set "Night Breeze".
